Too small and not the same quality as the jacket shown.
The jacket was of a high quality leather- no complaints there, and delivery was super-fast. However, the jacket was of a much thinner leather than that shown in the picture and despite the notice posted by Brandslock, the size is still too small. I ordered a Medium and it was tiny! A shame because I've had jackets from Brandslock before without any issue. Perhaps it's just this one...

Purchasing clothes off the internet is always going to be an unknown question regarding whether it fits you correctly. Having read all of the reviews, the only negative point seemed to be selecting the correct size, i normally take a large and so ordered an XXL. I am 5' 6" with a 44 chest, and it fitted me perfectly. Good quality for the price, nice and soft waxed leather, and comfortable to wear, looks nice, and would be pushed to find a lamb leather jacket at this price on the high street. Yes its thin and worked leather, but warm and wind proof. Nice purchase and look forward to using it.
Great jacket.
Great Jacket. Nice smell, lovely soft leather and looks good. I ordered two sizes larger than my measurements suggested I would need and it fits me perfectly, so be aware that it is smaller than the sizes suggest. The only critisism is that the zip doesn't look as though it will last as long as the rest of the jacket.

Mens Leather Jacket Highly Recommended
Excellent value leather jacket. Bought by my dad, here's what he said about it......... The quality is very good and it has been made with comfort in mind as well as looking good. I have paid much more in the past for similar leather jackets and none were as good as this one. I stated that this item Fit as expected but I deliberately ordered XL instead of the recommended size L and I would advise you to do the same. Also like to mention that I received it well within 24hrs on a bank holiday Monday with no postage cost added, that's amazing!

Allowing for sizing I ordered two sizes bigger. I have a 56 inch chest. It is beautifully made, softest leather and a great price. However a size bigger would have been better. The jacket fits well enough. I can zip it up and it doesn't feel like a strait-jacket, it is comfortable but very close fitting. As the wife said "I will get away with it." I am tempted by the brown version which is also sized up to 5xl but then goes onto another size termed "Larger".

The jacket is fine but the sizing terrible. My husband is xxl. Other comment from feedback said "order a size larger". I played it what I thought was safe and ordered xxxxl. That was too small so I reordered xxxxxl and that was even smaller. I was very disapointed as the quality of the product is very good. The only problem is that the sizes are far from correct.

after reading previous reviews,i ordered 2 sizes up.l'm 5'8" with a 46" chest, 36" waist and 16.5"neck.i normally order large ln jackets but ordered 2x as these jackets are undersized.i am very pleased how the jacket fits,it is a snug fit when zipped up and the neck fastening is a bit tight if i wanted to wear a jumper underneath a 3xl may have been better.but this garment is really lightweight (916g/2lb) and i intend to wear it with a t-shirt..it fits perfect around the shoulders back and waist and hangs open with a 2"-3" gap similar to the model in the picture.the sleeves come down just below my wrists, the cuffs have 2 press studs and the smaller setting makes it a nice fit as i have thin wrists and small hands.it is a really nice jacket and exactly what i was looking for.
Very small across shoulders
Very small across shoulders but gorgeous leather and good style. It is. Christmas present so will not know if it's ok until then. I bought a size bigger than I would usually.
Buy 2 sizes larger than you think you need.
No problem with delivery or quality of product; however, there is a sizing issue. After reading all 36 reviews and looking at the product description I decided I needed to order a size larger (XL instead of my usual L), My usual size is a 44 and in shirts 16 inch neck. I was suprised when it arrived that the XL was still too small. The sleeves were fine at 26. The body was a little tight, but the neck opening was so small that I could not make the popper fastner reach. Since this order was fulfilled by Amazon I had returned the XL for a refund. I then ordered today a 2XL and paid for next day delivery. I hope the body and the neck size have a little more room with the 2XL. The sleeves could be a touch long, but better that than too short. Amazon's size quide and the sizes in the supplier description do not match and this make ordering the correct size a bit of a lottery. I would not have ordered a replacement if I had to pay to return to an Amazon Marketplace trader.
Wonderfully soft and comfortable leather jacket
I recently bought this black leather jacket and it is incredibly comfortable with really soft leather. I drive quite a bit and it is very comfortable to drive in as well. I think that it is great value for money and has been noticed and admired by my friends and family. I read all the reviews before I ordered the jacket and followed the advice of buying a size larger. I would normally get a large size but bought an extra large and this fits perfectly around the chest and on the shoulders. If I had any suggestions as to how to improve it, I would say to put a slightly larger zip on it and it is very small but it does work OK.

Fantastic jacket, looks great. unfortunately it was too small. Bought the 4xl and was too tight around the back and arms. Overall great jacket but I prefer my jackets loose fitting. Hassle free return and quick refund when I sent it back.

great well made light soft leather jacket. looks very stylish too. only problem is with the sizings as other people have also noted. i think the thing is that this jacket is a slim type design so you do need a larger size than your usual size. i would say go one up from your normal size and you should be ok. i normally fit a X Large on jackets so went for a XX Large and it fitted fine. not too tight when zipped up but not too baggy either. for a guide i am 6' 2" tall with a 38" waist and 42" chest. overall well worth the price and does look a lot more expensive than its asking price. perfect for a night out on the town!
Extra cost
Nice jacket and good value for money only one problem ! It don't fit and had to be returned, I suggest if you order this jacket make sure it's at least one size larger or even two sizes , unfortunately it cost me money to send back so although I liked the jacket I did not want to risk ordering another one incase I had to send it back costing yet more money . Shame really
Top Quality, Decent Price
Well, I followed the manufacturer's instructions and ordered the size I am rather that the size up, as had previously been suggested by customers who complained that what they received was way too small. Suffice it to say, this was the right move - this jacket fits perfectly and the quality is impeccable. I would heartily recommend this (and presumably any of the other styles in Brands Lock's range) to anyone interested in investing in an immaculately finished soft lightweight leather jacket at a reasonable price.
Lovely jacket but sizing is very small
I read the reviews other people had left about the sizing coming up small. So ordered a larger size, but it was still way too small unfortunately. The jacket appears to be lovely quality and really soft leather, but it is annoying that the sizing guide is way off. I am a 2xl size, but ordered a 4xl (the largest that they had in stock) and still couldn't do the jacket up. Such a shame so am returning it for a refund as they don't have a larger size.

Jacket arrived super fast, recommend reading the full email they send... It will give you a chuckle. Jacket looked beautiful but unfortunately even an XL was too small... I've a 40 inch chest n a 36 waist n 6'3ft, I was unable to get the zip together n my arms were too long. So I repacked the jacket n still need to print the return postage n send it back... Need a bigger size. Read all the reviews concerning sizes, you really do need to get a size much bigger... For myself I may have to get an XXL or even a XXXL if available. Will be posting back tomorrow n reordering another, just working a lot lately. The jacket is beautiful n worth the money, it's the sizing that's the issue. Would totally recommend.
Great looking jacket
The jacket feels very comfortable to wear. It is not too heavy and has good quality xps on all of the relevant pockets. I like wearing it.
Buy two sizes bigger
I have some beer belly, so I ordered two sizes bigger and it just fit fine.I It is beautifully made from soft leather and aprice is apropriate. It is stil warm so I don't know how will it work in colder wheather.
Very lightweight material
This jacket is very light compared to other 'leather' jackets I have so frankly I doubt it is real leather. Style wise it is quite nice. Size wise I think that if you actually measure your chest size and don't trust the reviews that suggest the fits are on the small side then I think you should be ok. Certainly don't go up in size by more than one size!

Quality and style!
Okay, so I've been wearing this for about a week so I can't comment on its durability, but for now I can say that it is well worth the money. It's very smart and looks to be quality leather and tailoring....oh yes, and it's warm. We just had a few cold days with icy winds and I cycle to work every day. My face and hand were cold but not a breath of wind or cold got through the jacket, I will update this if the durability doesn't match the quality.

Been looking for a leather jacket for a few months and been looking on designer site with no luck then forgot about looking on Amazon then come a cross this leather jacket after reading the reviews customers had left felt very confident about ordering the jacket one size bigger than I would normally would and was very please when the jacket come (2 days) packaged very very well the jacket is very light very warm made well and over the moon with it would reccomend it .
Nicely styled
This is a very smart jacket for the money. I am slim (41" chest). I bought a 'L'. I like a neat fit and this is perfect for me. If you prefer a loose fit, I would go a size up. Looks expensive and I particularly like the shoulder detail.

Great jacket.
As per lots of other reviews, we ordered a couple of sizes up - husband normally wears large, but ordered xxl, which fitted perfectly. Bought as Christmas present for husband, and he loves it. Very soft leather, lovely colour, well worth the price.
Perfect for me
I liked the look of this jacket first of all. Other reviews were encouraging, though one or two said that the fit was too small for their normal size. I used the measuring guide which indicated one size up from my normal one. My assessment was correct and the jacket fits perfectly. It is a quality product. The leather is wonderfully soft and it looks extremely stylish. Highly recommended.
Perfection
The jacket is perfect ,the leather is soft and supple , the fit is excellent, the lining is perfect with two inside pockets one having a zip.
I have nothing but praise for the product. I had been advised that the delivery would be on Saturday 11th I waited in all day !! It eventually arrived today the 14th that is my only criticism .
I will certainly recommend this seller to friends and family.
You won't be dissappointed
The quality is excellent and the fit superb. Easily the equivalent of a Ted Baker one which the largest fitting was too small. For those concerned about fit and sizing I am broad, I weight train and play rugby a lot. So I have a 48 inch chest and large shoulders with a 38 inch waist. 3XL fitted perfectly. Hope this helps someone. A real bargain.
Had to upgrade 2 sizes.
Jacket was too smal. I usually wear a large but reading other reviews I ordered an XL was a bit tight so I exchanged it for a XXL which was fine. Went to their shop in Bethnal Green and did the exchange there. They were very helpful.
