poor quality finish
poor quality finish, chin strap was made from a twisted piece of leather that constantly curls up, arrived all out of shape where it is shipped in a bag and not a box, returned for a refund

This was going to be a gift. Came squashed. Cut. Looks like mould on it in places. Very disappointing.

A great hat. Perfect for western themed events.
It is not very stretchy so make sure you get the correct size using the size chart. It was a tight fit for me despite using the guide, so be sure to go a bit larger.

I'm still recovering
I thought it was time to buy some head protection. I've long fancied a cowboy hat.
As a very tall and slender (aging but not down and out yet) chap one must carefully select the right shape, brim size and crown size.
I'm fortunate to still have a full head of hair. So when measuring my hat size one must factor in hair levels.
I'm around 24 inches. Consequently I opted for the 2xl. Anything less would have been too small.
The drawstring is ideal for the wind.
I plan to take it out (and myself) next week for a short 8 mile stretch of the legs.
Let's see how we both cope.

At last a hat that fits!
The hat is great. Wish I could say the same about the delivery. I have delivery instructions on Amazon plus a notice on the door to put it in my safe place. But no it was left on the front door step in the pouring rain. Just as well the hat is waterproof. The bag it was in was sodden to the extent when I picked it up it was no longer sealed.

This hat is amazing, fantastic leather and very reasonably priced. I ordered the small first and had to send it back and re order the medium which fits perfectly. The process of returning and getting my refund was very easy.
This is a brilliant hat at a great price
I am very happy with this hat, it fits perfectly, and is very comfortable to wear, and I like the fact it has the small breather holes too. I measured my head circumference around 58 so opted for a large which fitted perfectly. It is good quality and looks great. Lets hope it lasts, and a great price in comparison to similar leather hats.

Really impressed with this hat, is the third one bought from different companies, this is the best one yet. Over time will replace the other ones with like from Brandstock. If this is what you want you can't do better for the price

Im not a hat wearer normally, but needed something to keep from getting sunburned when hot and dry when wet whilst gardening.
After some careful measuring i ordered the XL and it fits perfectly and is comfortable to boot. I think some reviewers have measured their head wrong, or accidentally recieved the wrong size. My experience is a true fit.
The leather is good quality, and the hat feels good to wear. As other reviewers have mentioned, the elastic strap is a bit cheap, but its not a bother as I just took it out. I dont have need for a strap.
All in all this is a bargain, sure it isnt the peak of quality, but it is very good quality. This would be cheap at twice the price.

Very good quality, but very slightly smaller than stated
It's very comfortable, seems sturdy, and seems to be good quality leather too! I haven't worn it in the rain so I can't say if it's waterproof but it should be! I ordered a small, thinking it would give me about two extra centimetres of head room (I've got a very small head it seems) but it fits very snug (that's why I took a star off Comfort, it is slightly tight but not very; it's not gonna stop me wearing it, and enough wear should stretch it a bit too), so if you are between sizes, I recommend you round up. Excellent quality for the price, and I feel very cool wearing it 🤠

Packaging was dreadful and hat not true to size
Hat arrived squashed due to the absolute lack of decent packaging. A plastic bag and a normal brown paper package and that was it. Hat not true to size at all
Size chart
Ordered an XL originally. This came up way too big, so sent it back and ordered a L which is a little tight. The size chart is very misleading. Otherwise a really nice hat well made and good value. The only thing I can hope is because its made from real leather it will stretch a bit which would be perfect.

I am a professional gardener and i wear leather hats whilst working in the rain because they are the only ones that actually keep your head dry, long term. I received this one and was amazed at how inexpensive it was. The quality is really good and i would usually have spent twice as much for a hat of this standard. I am delighted with it and it will be well used this winter.

The quality of this hat is very good.
One thing that let's it down is the flimsy elastic strap. It's a quick fix I changed it for a boot lace using the ferrule to thread through the small hole. I then tied a knot and cut some of the ferrule off. I also replaced the spring toggle for a stronger one.

Why isn't this more expensive?
I bought this going it would keep the sun off my head for a weekend before being put in the bin due to the fake leather falling apart.
HOW WRONG WAS I? This hat is mega. Real leather, well made and comfy as heck. I now wear it everywhere and my wife's having to insist I take it off for bed.
The only slight slight downside is the fit - it came a little too tight, but with a little stretching and weathering it now fits like a glove. If you're unsure on sizing go bigger.
